The first Planning Committee scheduled after that is February 11th and another on February 18th. I would think this application would take up most, if not all, of one meeting.

https://forms.brent.gov.uk/servlet/ep.ext?extId=101150&reference=119764&st=PLMartin Francishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02194641151012303116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2129943063330427887.post-76022316993829788692015-01-15T11:28:29.930+00:002015-01-15T11:28:29.930+00:00When will this go before the planning committee? When will this go before the planning committee?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2129943063330427887.post-74388897354810990572015-01-12T12:46:10.122+00:002015-01-12T12:46:10.122+00:00For approximately 20 years Brent residents campaig...For approximately 20 years Brent residents campaigned to rid Chalkhill and Stonebridge estates of the high rise blocks of flats, for many they were just "No Go Areas". History has proved to us that housing people in such dense environments does nothing to promote their well being, sense of community and good neighbours in fact it has the opposite effect. People feel alone, isolated, seldom know or even recognise their neighbours and people who live close to them. These estates were eventually demolished and re-built with low rise no more than 4 floors which has resulted in much more cohesive community. Evidently the planners/developers have learnt nothing from this, and are hell bent on recreating all that was bad about these estates in Wembley. A decision no doubt they will come to regret in 10 years time by which it will be too late. But let us hope that these properties will all be bought by oversea's investors off plan and who have no wish to live in them or rent them out, which is happening with these kind of developments all over London.
