It's completely unrealistic and unfair and goes against their basic beliefs and principles. It forces them into a very difficult moral dilemma.It's like asking a fundamentalist Christian cakemaker to produce a cake with gay-supporting slogans on it. <br />B&P should be left to concentrate on doing what they're good at: facilitating Tory cuts and facing down local troublemakers who try to resist them.
