We were 'helping' the farmer get them back into the fields. As kids we used to call it Mole hill. They used to sell clthes pegs around Pilgrims way.On top of 'Mole Hill' in about the 60's an underground 'bunker was dug and buried and we saw its construction. Never found out what it was for or if it's still there. Never found out how barnhill pond pond got and retained its water. It used to even overflow in wet times?
