I wonder what has opened Bren...what a unfunny joke.
I wonder what has opened Brent councils eyes @ last?
I reckon the streets will get dirtier because for one thing as long as people continue to smoke and abuse their own health while the government sits back collecting billions in taxes and then allowing old age pensioners to live in damp houses
and then when the pensioners complain the council say they have no money...yet the government is raking it in from the sale of tobacco that is causing @ least 30,000 people or more to die every year from lung cancer.
and to think this is a problem created by humans...yes human are the ones who make cigarettes and despite the fact that even in 1950 the government was warned about the link between smoking and lung cancer, they still allowed people to continue abusing themselves.
and why?
well it has to be simply because they put profit before principle.
so therefore we cannot look to them to deliver us from the litter problem we have which is also human created.
because if the government will allow a problem that didn't use to exist simply because they put profit before principle, we can be certain that rather than things getting better as they promised us in 1997, rather things can only get worse.
when people stop smoking and caring about their health, you will see less litter on the pavements.
the pavements will become things designed for humans to walk on not to use as make shift ashtrays and bushes as make shift dustbins.
and when people start seeing value in living by principles, they will surely stop chucking stuff on the streets and dispose of things properly.
when that happens the future report will highlight that Brent is getting cleaner not dirtier.
and when we @ last have a government that puts principles first before profit we will all see the difference that will make to this borough.bigbreadeaterellishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17307429688899890191noreply@blogger.com
