Butt the PR man for Wembley Market
While the maelstrom continued over racism, bullying and harassment at Brent Council, leader Muhammed Butt on Twitter yesterday concentrated on the real priority:

Is your headline an invitation or an instruction, Martin?
Butt the PR Man sounds like a much more entertaining variant of Splat the Rat. I imagine the queue is already stretching back to the High Road. Someone have a go for me, please.
Well we all know who is running Brent Council, therefore, Butt can afford to tackle socially concious and important issues like 'get your skates on' and get to Wembley Market....
Edited comment: What utter rubbish. There are serious issues in house and we have had nothing directly from the Leader about that.
The wishes and hopes are that it will all blow over. Until the right action is taken, we can't let it just disappear.
The full tribunal judgement is shocking. This poor woman was hounded till she had no option than resignation. Senior management were evidently complicit in this awful treatment and did nothing to protect her. There is no defence for this whichever angle you view it.
All these other stories are an attempt to detract from what's really going on. This needs more exposure to highlight the wrong that have and continue to happen.
Butt and his merry Brent Council Senior Officers need to be kicked out, they simply keep dishing 1 insult after the other thinking us the minions need to just shut up and put, latest offering is the details of the internal review to be carried out by pavey. Small focus groups, discussions with staff, they are looking for ways to improve policies, really. How many ways can you say that Cara Davani was found guilty of wrongdoing, yet instead of getting rid of her let's see if we can find a way that get staff to like her and lets see if we can make some her policies more staff friendly. What bit of get Davani out don't they understand, the few mugs that will get interviewed aren't going to tell them what they really feel, because those involved in this so called review are all on the side of Davani and her crew.
They keep using Black History month as a way of appealing to staff trying to show 'we are not rascists', I am black and they can go to hell, don't try and use my race to try and prove that you are promoting equality. Super annoyed and insulted. Your Equalities/Diversity team is less diverse now than it's ever been.
Black history month is a relatively recent bandwagon. Another way public sector bodies used to demonstrate their multi-cultural credentials was by staging 'curry evenings'. Does anyone remember any others?

You should know by now that I expect WM readers to have a high tolerance of ambiguity.

Is this for real? Cllr Butt thinks the market iis atop priority for Brent Council.
Common you can do better than that Cllr. How much self respect is one man prepared to loose.
Is it possible to lose something you don't have?
Are we sure it was a bona fide pick-pocket that nicked Martin's camera at the market on Sunday?
