I wonder what Barcelona fans will think about the restricted view of Wembley Stadium since their visit in May 2011 (beating Manchester United in the Champions League Final)?
The top photo in the "Wembley Stadium's Vanishing Arch" blog, 2 October, was taken on that occasion.
Phil, I don't think they actually care. They won 4-2. Only us locals realise what damage is being done. The fact they still have not revealed the tile murals behind the horrible hoardings of adverts by Quintain remains a sore point for everyone. I for one support you 100% it getting them re-instated before Boxpark and all the other nonesense that's going on becomes recognised as significant legacy for our once beloved Wembley NO Park.
Thank you. On the tile murals, look out for details of a Wembley History Society meeting on Friday 19 October, which I hope will appear on this blog site next week.
