Following Cllr Collymore's resignation as Deputy Mayor and from her committee positions, she has been suspended from the Labour Party pending further investigations by the party.
Her resignation followed a finding by the responsible Brent Officer that she has breached the Members Code of Conduct in an altercation with a parking warden. REPORT HERE
Cllr Collymore remains a councillor.
The Kilburn Times reported a statement by Brent Labour Group:
Following a breach of the councillors code of conduct, Cllr Collymore has been suspended, pending Labour Party investigation.
We unequivocally condemn the conduct displayed during this incident, which falls short of the high standards expected within the Labour Party. We have written to the member of staff to offer our apology on behalf of the entire Labour Group.

Do the Labour Party mean 'Racist' conduct? If yes then why don't they say so? Another pathetic Labour Party cover up attempt. Time for Brent Council to publish the transcript and show the video. The public who pay Councillors over £1 million in allowances (including over £16,000 p.a. to Councillor Collymore) have a right to know the truth.
Curious these delays, both if apologies and suspension. Wonder what spurred them into action.
As a resident of Northwick Park ward I want Diana Collymore to go. Since Keith Perrin retired we have been very poorly served by their invisible Labour Party replacements

I'm not a member of any political party, but I believe that high standards of behaviour should be expected of everyone in public life. In fact, they are - and they are set out in the Seven Principles of Conduct in Public Life - Selflessness, Integrity, Objectivity, Accountability, Openness, Honesty and Leadership.
But we should also expect high standards of ourselves, whether in public life or not. If we can all treat others around us as we would like to be treated ourselves, the world would be a better place.
I liked Keith Perrin, what happened to him
Antiquated view. Im not convinced politicians are deserving of respect, but that doesn’t mean I or the public arnt. Politicians benefit from hearing the contempt
The parking warden was also due respect, particularly from an elected local official.
