In my view, it seems reasonable to propose that the difficulties individuals and families face in affording the rising rental costs in Brent are, at least in part, due to the scarcity of genuinely decent and affordable housing. This situation reflects a failure on the part of both the government and local authorities to address this pressing issue.

It says on the leaflet that they are "unable to take jobs as our rent is too high" - what does this mean?
My parents had high rents and had to work hard to pay those rents! There was no option not to take a job!
