It's the National Football Stadium and has been there since 1923 so you should surely expect there to be football matches held there.
If you think these football matches are a nuisance just wait until all the concerts start in the summer - there are 60 major events at Wembley Stadium this year!!!

I absolutely hate the fact that they have these events every weekend consecutively. Residents can't get a chance to enjoy the weekend.
