And do you think drivers with sophisticated sat navs will follow these diversions? Our side roads will be turned into dangerous rat runs.

They are very long ways round - I am afraid you are right. I think the most worrying is probably Park Lane with the added complication of a Primary School on the route.

If the Mayor of London was willing to lay on extra buses - with discounted season tickets for duration of this work - Brent Council could run a Campaign to encourage local people to keep their cars (where possible) at home and either use public transport or walk on local trips where possible.

We also have other local schools close to the route.

And how are people supposed to get to Northwick Park and Central Middlesex hospitals by bus?

The only bus stops closed are the ones immediately in the vicinity of the Triangle all others remain open just the bus diverts along park lane and Wembley Hill Road till it meets Empire way this does not stop anyone from going to hospital by bus.

The roads round the rear of the stadium will be pretty busy to get to and from North Circular Road, however will definitely make for some good entertainment when the Stadium is operating it's events, and close South Way and Engineers Way.

Getting stuck in huge traffic jams will stop people getting to the hospital by bus or car!

Walk on local trips amongst the queues of polluting traffic stuck in jams on the diversion routes and also in our side roads as rat runs? Whilst carrying heavy shopping or with young children?
