Northwick Park flats construction continues apace

This was the scene that confronted me today at the end of the footpath from Northwick Park station towards the hospital.

This is the first phase in the building of new flats  by Countryside Partnership that look a more dense development than I envisaged from the planning application images.

The future extent of the development can be seen from this early image:

Very few affordable rents. Most of the supposedly affordable are shared ownership sales, which are anything but affordable. Most of the affordable will no doubt be deployed to rehouse those with protected tenancy in the current properties. Then they'll knock them down. There will no doubt be an affordable loss at this location. Just like Kilburn etc.

Smoke and mirrors. It's all a big con for profit and bigger salaries for the bosses. And it cost us over £10 million to facilitate their profits and higher salaries. Standing room only on the tubes from now on.

Few towerblocks in these developments have people registered to vote, which suggests they arnt lived in. Where does the money go

Looks just like Countryside's colony on Peel Precinct NW6- a travel clinic and key boxes rather than the 2004 community-led masterplan.
Countryside green funds the kitchen gardens at Chiswick House rather than green fund the 60 years old 2 ha park directly opposite PP. Because its a Brent park 'lost' inside a red-lined permanent development car-free housing towers zone?
