There were two primary classes happily engaged at the WHEEC today when I popped by after watering my allotment on Birchen Grove. I thought it would be useful for the general reader to know what their offer to local schools and nurseries is. This brochure is from 2019 but I suspect little has changed, except perhaps for the very reasonable pricess.

Perhaps Wembley Stadium can help fund classes...

Vistry of South Kilburn fund the giant kitchen garden project at Chiswick House. As for the 2ha park direct opposite their tenanted towers in South Kilburn ( Brent Kilburn's only remaining park), forget it that's brownfield land local civic rights abandoned for population mega growth zoned.
The developers of new Brent Cross (in progress) could surely support future health, education and wellbeing growth at Welsh Harp.
In more positive Climate Action news. I read that Harringay Council now has an online map of its tree planting with all of last years 2,000 new trees mapped in including two new mini forests for urban cooling. Harringay wants every neighbourhood to have at least 30% tree cover and their target is 10,000 new trees by 2030. Even brownfield estates are to get their tree share.
The stark difference between Climate Action plan and Climate no Action plan keep it generic developer-led corporatist boroughs.
