Does not 'SELF INTEREST' count as "principle"? Good riddance - the man is absolutely useless. As a Wembley Central resident I am happy to see the back of him and the other two Labour stooges who have done nothing useful for our area. The only time we ever see them is at election time.
Surely even the Tories cannot be so stupid - the man cannot string a sentence together and was rightly ditched by Labour for being invisible and useless.
He's not the only one who can't string a meaningful sentence together. The Brent Mayors of late and future are a perfect example, that is baring the current one, he just thinks he's the the Mayor of Ireland (sod Brent).
Some of the comments are a bit bewildering. Do people really expect Councillors to come round door knocking frequently? Haven't we progressed with tech and such to mean that they don't have to do this time wasting activity and people could really just be emailing them out of efficiency? Officers are the ones with the tools and answers around specific issues anyway which don't need Councillors to see something with their eyes which they'd be able to see just as clearly via a photo. Everyone wants everything to happen all at once yet no one's willing to stick their finger out and do something about it themselves. Quit all the complaining and moaning, there's enough negativity in the world. All going to die very lonely and miserable at this rate. If I were a Councillor I'd be most worried about knocking on any one of your doors out of sheer safety concerns, mental illness is real.
Interesting, but door knocking is about having conversations, sharing information, getting to know local people and at election times persuading them to vote for you. It is can be a pleasant and positive experience (believe it or not!) There is, as you can see from some of the comments on this blog, a perception that people only come knocking at election time, and at other times don't even respond to emails. I think the most valuable experience I have had with councillors is when they arrange to visit the estate/area and do a walkabout with a group of residents looking at the local issues - even better if police or council officers come along wth them to see what the real issues are.
Organised walkabouts with multiple stakeholders, perhaps. Otherwise it sounds like a real time sink to me. There are so many other avenues for residents to make their queries and concerns known these days. Rather than complaining on here and wallowing in self-pity/indulgence that does nothing but stir up hate and frankly quite distasteful personal comments, make direct contact and get things moving positively.
Meeting people, responding to emails, dealing with casework? - that is well below Councillor Sheth. No way he would stoop that low. A bit difficult for Sonia Shah to do all the way from the wonderful USA. With Labour Councillors like these 3 it is no surprise that Wembley Central is so dirty, neglected and ignored - and left to rot by Butt & co.

True Brent Labour candidates. You've got to hand it to Towerblock Tatler, she selected an even worse set of candidates for 2026
And that ain't easy

He's the only Wembley Central Councillor that we've seen at events recently - the others are conspicuous by their absence.

People elect the planks of wood, I dont get it either but I dont understand why people vote for them neither

Dear Annon 29 October 2025 at 12:28 - because they don't listen to residents
