What about the Irish who sweated underground in tunnels, with picks and shovels To build the tublelines, railways, roads, airports gaspipes etc They are forgotten. Not Even a Tubeline named after the men who laboured in dire and deadly conditions.
You are welcome to apply for funding and start a project to recognise the Irish contribution to this city and/or borough. That doesn't mean you can't support this project which is about black people
Who is paying for the funding for this divisive project? Surely we should be recognising all of the people that worked to create Brent not dividing our communities by only recognising one part of it!
