Road closures and bus diversions from 1.30pm tomorrow (THURSDAY) for Guns n' Roses at Wembley Stadium

School children and workers will be affected by tomorrow's early road closures as they try to get home.

A young fan today - Thursday  (I told him about some of the comments below) -  his dad got him interested.

55,000 hardly a major event and you close the roads at 1.30 pm!
Well I suppose it makes sense to the Stadium they have to protect Guns and Roses fans who must all be pensionable age from roaming and dawdling around the area 6 hours before they likely to take to the stage, I ,mean what else have they got to do? Sod the locals if they inconvenienced, people going home from
work and school after a long day grafting in this heat with no air con in offices and schools, does wonders for the stadium PR.......er not.

Anon comment made me smile, my thoughts exactly, average age is 63 for most of Guns&Roses musicians.

Surprised it's only 55K capacity?

Lots of young people are fans so please don't be so ageist!

Yes such ageist comments!

No matter the age of the band members, the age of their fan base is hugely varied.

I am on Olympic Way right now and a wide range of fans arriving. Some as grizzled as me and perhaps a majority 40s and 50s but youngsters too and likely more after work.

More like 50-55 years old is the core fan base from the 1987 Appetite for Destruction era.
