Butt she was a hopeless chair of the Labour group from what i heard, she always referring to mine leader, and was totally ineffectual, just as she is on Planning for all to see online.
The Labour Group need a 'Plumber' not an "Assertive" pain in the arse of a chair.
The Group is full of traitors who leak at every opportunity to improve their position and undermine their colleagues.
You'd think that the leaks would stop after 6 Labour Councillors dumped the group and two others were suspended but clearly not. Maybe they are still on the Group mailing list?
OR are Wembley Matters on the Labour Group email list under some clever disguise - the email "DirectlinetoKremlin@Wembley Matters.org" may be the give away?
Now who in the Labour Group could be possibly be leaking? Is Jumbo still in the group and happy to have been 'dumped'? Amazing that his ward colleagues have failed to back him up.

May be the remaining Labour Councillors should be communicating in a secret code. Time to drop the designation "Comrade" for example. Time has come for - "Tovarisch".

The Leader's Office has always been full of leaks to Wembleymatters, who is the only one that has been there ever since i started back in 2010? You'd have theought that the Labour Councillors would have caught on by now?
From the sounds of it, all the Brent Labour meetings are extraordinary meetings, they would be with such extraordinary councillors LOL. Obviously, by extraordinary, one means pathetic.

According to the above, Cllr Dixon says "I learnt a great deal during that period which I can put into use as chief whip.'" What did she learn one wonders? It is very likely she learnt to do exactly what Mo Butt wants, just as she does for him on the Planning Committee. Gosh, she will be 'EARNING' cough £20,063pa in allowances, nice pay if you can get it? That's almost double what a pensioner recieves!
Whip on matters of conscience seems just wrong, perhaps this triggered defection.

There is no justification for a Labour Whip to get an extra allowance of over £4,000 paid by the taxpayer (plus NI on top) as this is purely a party political position. Because this year's budget is overspent Labour Councillors decided to suspend all "non-essential" work to save money. Why is this £4,000 allowance - and that for the unnecessary Deputy Mayor allowance (another £3 of taxpayers money) scrapped to save money too?
Just because Cllr Butt wants to keep control by handing out 'gifts' at our expense is NOT a valid justification.

Dear 24 December 2025 at 17:57 - Jumbo's fellow councillors have extremely opposing political views to Jumbo, why wouldn't they, with their mate Towerblock Tatler help, dump Jumbo. We all know that Baroness Tatler of Ineffectiveness dislikes anyone who disagrees with her.

At least Cllr Dixon isn't hated as much as Towerblock Tatler the vengeful, who has singlehandedly destroyed Brent Labour.
Not single handedly - all the other councillors who sat back and didn't challenge Tatler & Butt are equally to blame for the mess.
Edited comment to conform with guidelines: The view in local Labour circles is that Tatler is the main player, and she will have Butt deposed come May 2026. She now has many very compliant and supporting candidates in place throughout Brent.

So, no doubt the Labour Councillors now have a new Chief Wimp to do the bidding of Butt and the odious Tatler. Panic in the camp if they selected her.
They are generally the ones who have been deselected. They did challenge. One of the defectors stated their green credential 2 years ago. But who cares.
