Brent - I have added a section of the Alperton ward map

No, the project managers appear to have taken down any leaflets or boards from previous consultations.

Does this mean petrol station goes ??

Yes, this I was thinking about too? It says retention of the store but not the station? If anyone has an answer, would be good to know.

We need retention of 2 hours free parking too!

In Willesden Sainsburys they cut it to 20mins free unless you spend minimum of £10 in store when you get longer - this will impact elderly and disabled who can't necessarily get in and out in 20mins and push people to spend money they don't not have to get longer parking - it will also impact other smaller local businesses who rely on their customers being able to park in Sainsburys car park.

The Sainsburys petrol station is going which means we will have to pay higher prices at the nearest non supermarket petrol station or have to drive around trying to find cheaper petrol so more cost and more pollution🙄

Also there are currently 400 parking spaces, this will reduce to 200 so more pollution from queues to get into the car park or more pollution having to drive elsewhere to do your bulky shopping.

Our quality of life in Wembley is being eroded more and more everyday whilst multi-billion pound property developers, mega rich pop stars and greedy concert promoters are raking it in.

We saw what to expect with the Hendon Sainsbury’s — a murky underground car park with poor ventilation, and a massive block of flats on top with high service charges

They've said info will be on here after the drop in sessions: https://glacierway.co.uk/

Believe we need a proper public meeting about this as these are major changes which will affect many thousands of Brent residents in surrounding areas not just those in Alperton.

And once they've done it here they'll be trying to do it in other Sainsburys stores too - roll on Kenton now that the massive high rise development at the Travellers Rest Pub has been approved :(

Apparently Brent Council have asked that the filter lane by the petrol station where you can turn left towards Sudbury is removed as part of the development - are they utterly mad???!!!
