I’m an A level student studying Geography.
As a part of my studies, I have undertaken a research project on the Positive and Negative impacts of the redevelopment of Wembley for the local community.
As local residents, your views would give me a very accurate picture of the perspectives of the local residents
What has changed since the regeneration projects have seen tall tower blocks sprung up?
How safe do you feel? Has anything changed in your sense of belonging to the place?
Your input and comments would really mean a lot!
The data will be used only for academic purposes and will be completely anonymous.
I will also share my findings of these data collection for you to gauge an overall picture of the perception of the local residents.

Good to see an A level student taking on this important subject.

Brilliant ! Love it .. the tower blocks has probably added to congestion on road/tube station ? Safety wise we feel safer because there are always people in the area
ULEZ won't help here with all the pollution caused by all the massive property developments - so many huge trees have been lost and not replaced 😤
I agree, the regeneration has greatly enhanced the Wembley Park, turning it from an area really only visited on an event day to a vibrant residential, civic and commercial centre at the heart of Brent.
I feel safe whenever I am walking through Wembley Park. There is CCTV, security patrols but also natural surveillance from the residential and commercial buildings.
The new park and other public spaces, Boxpark, LDO, theatre, children's nursery and Health Centre (soon) are all great additions to the area.
You must be walking through Wembley Park with blinkers on as its not what we see - or perhaps you work for Quintain or Brent Council PR?
Previously Wembley Park provided long term employment for thousands of people - the new Wembley Park offers short term minimum wage jobs and huge income for overseas property investors.

I think the photo used in the illustration doesn’t show much in the way of positives.
Generally the transformation has been positive and Wembley Park really now is a place 365 days of the year not just on events days.
The news trees, park and public spaces are great. And it all feels much safer.
