Why do B~ent Labour and the B~ent Tories (who keep Butt in power) think that Wembley Stadium events are more important than the people who live in Brent?
There are 32 concerts at Wembley Stadium this Summer.
There will be around 66 events at Wembley Stadium in total this year.
And potentially a major boxing match in October or November starting at 4.00am in the morning - more chaotic disruption for residents throughout the night with people getting to the stadium and leaving afterwards 😡 The Mayor of London appears to back the idea and from his declarations of interests it"s clear that Leader of Brent Counvil Cllr Mo Butt likes attending boxing matches!!!
Fury v Joshua could be held overnight at Wembley: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/articles/c20yddexznzo
If you live near to the National Stadium, expect it be inconvenienced by events. Alternatively they could close it and redevelop the site for housing....
Wembley Stadium was built as a our showpiece National Football Stadium, a public transport destination, and with restrictions in place on the number of events and the timings of those events.
