The transformation of Wembley High Road on the east side is due to continue with this development by Regal London. Details will be available at the exhibition but it appears to add to the tall buildings on either side of this main route from Wembley Triangle up to the 'Twin Towers' at the junction with Park Lane.
Residents will be concerned about the over-shadowing of current low-rise properties as well as the overall densification of the area

Gosh, just what we need in Wembley, yet more student accomadation, who needs a community in Wembley, apparently we don't, and then there's the point that Student Accomodation don't pay Council Tax do they? Just think, when all the stuents go home during the holidays all the local businesses will suddenly have no income. No doubt Tower Block Tatler and Co will be right behind this development by supporting their developer friends and forcing the planners to exercise their 'views' and cover up any negative impacts of the development.
Yes, your Brent Councillors Angry Butt, Towerblock Tatler, Grumpy McLennam, Sad Southwood and Co are at it again. We know what they've been up to, yes twisting the arms (threatening) of planning and consultee officers by proxy.
I'm also sure the large mature trees in front of this development will all be sacrificed along with your brand new unecessary pavement. As for regenerating Brent, pull the other one.
The one very mature large tree at the front of this building was removed before they laid the new paving on this part of the High Road, and looks like it will be replaced like the rest of them by a spindley twig.
You may also note the 3 trees at the Triangle have been replaced by 3 Planters removed from the LTN zones no doubt.
How they will improve the ecological biodiversity of the site is anyones guess? As the rear borders the CHiltern Railway Line which had all the trees removed along this part of the embankment several years ago!!!! This railway embankment was once lauded as a Natural Wildlife Corridor only a few Silver Birch and a couple of Oak Trees remain.
Anon 6 April 2022 at 07:20 Very good point,"This railway embankment was once lauded as a Natural Wildlife Corridor" Brent's own policies say they will protect Wildlife corridors - what a bunch of liars these Labour Councillors are. Climate Emergency, they haven't got a clue have they.
As for dumping the fabled LTN planters all over Brent in innapropriate places just goes to show they could organise a ..... up in a brewery.
Part of Brent Developer Empire- which is permitted development land wars joining-up.....
Sao Paulo or Shanghai, with a few protected de-growth gems living on top of the new Brent Imperial Colony Cake. Please don't panic Brent Queens Park your a gem!
How silent the Brent May local elections campaign is?
No idea why Regal London want to build Student Accommodation in Wembley Central when they intend to develop the Euro Car Parts site in Wembley Park for Housing when this site is directly opposite purpose built Student Accommodation in Wembley Park which is ideally suited for Student Living with Box Park and plenty of P/T work opportunities in the LDO and Restaurants situated in Quintain City, sorry I mean Wembley No Park. I suppose a few advantages is all the cheap fast food Takeaways on the High Road and Weatherspooons pub practically within spitting distance, is a lot cheaper than the ones based in Quintain City oops Wembley No Park, and lets not forget the joy of using the knackered old Bakerloo Line with its dirty, noisy rattling old trains which takes doubles the commute time into Central London as opposed to the Met and Jubilee from Wembley Park, or the fully loaded No. 18 Bus.
Transport for London want to close the Bakerloo Line if forced by government to extreme cost cut. Brent needs to wake up to this known risk.
Or is it about the Brent Land that this key infrastructure fail would release to money maker opportunity? What's the point of Brent stations build tall policy when there are real plans ahead for no stations?
Back to the social well being and place quality of Wembley City No Park and Kilburn Stations Growth Area No Park- pandemics, wars, resilience, health, care, space.....
