But where's the true unity with the Labour shadow cabinet to be found when Dawn Butler for example aligned herself with the Socialist Campaign Group?
She and considerable number of other politicians (including Diane Abbot)
also joined that so-called 'parliamentary caucus' despite originally joining the Labour Party.
That clearly suggests that the hearts of a (growing) number of politicians are divided and that can never be beneficial to the constituents they may be elected to serve on July 4th.
Trevor, I think it's more about the party moving to the right and leaving behind middle of the road Labour Party Members. Tommy Robinson supports Starmer's views doesn't he? Shows how far right the party is moving, thank goodness that there are still a few real socialist left in the party.
I live in Queens Park and am a longstanding member of the Labour Party. Who is Lesley Smith? Never heard of her. Where’s she been parachuted from?
