According to the Wembley Stadium Website the Concerts will star at 17.00 (5p.m.)

This means that enforcement of the the Event Day Parking Zone should start at 14.00 (2p.m.) - 3 hours before the start of the event (Unless the street is also in a CPZ). At a Public Meeting to discuss the use of the Stadium by Tottenham Hotspur a few years back the current Leader of Brent Council assured residents that enforcement does not start until 3 hours before the start of the event.

At present the Stadium has permission for 46 "Large" events of this kind. They have applied for planning permission to increase this by another 8 to 54 Large Events per year - compared to 37 when the planning application for the Stadium was approved in 1999.

If you agree that Brent Council and the Stadium should inform and consult with residents properly on their latest plans and increase in Stadium Events please sign the Petition calling for this.

PS. If you are holding a family or community event within the Event Day Zone on any of the Large Event days at the Stadium you can ask the Council (parking section) for free day permits for up to 20 visitors.

If residents apply for these 20 free permits for their "visitors" what's to stop them selling on to concert goers and making huge profit??? Does the council check who's actually using these free permits???

Why is the FA's profit more important to Brent Council than its residents? Not only do the FA want more large events, they also wish to raise the numbers that constitute a large event. They think we don't matter. Then there's the effect on local roads, buses tubes and trains!!! Of course we also have to put up with Fryent Way being turned into a coach car park and the Country Park is self being used as a car park.

Come on Brent Council, do the right thing by your residents, and that doesn't mean .... them
