The controversial application will be heard at the Licensing Committee on Tuesday. at 10am.  Currently it is not going to be livestreamed so interested residents will need to attend Brent Civic Centre in person.

Here are two key maps as background. Click X at bottom right corner for full view.:

Many of the documents related to the Licence Application have been restricted from public view by Brent Council. These will relate to the financial arrangements between the Applicant and Brent Council which are of obvious interest to Brent residents.

Brent is an international borough. has global outreach. the proposal is to hold an international festival. i think it will generate millions indirectly for the local economy. i support it.

This is outrageous - what are Brent Council hiding by restricting these documents from us council tax paying residents??? If there is nothing dubious going on why do they need to hide anything???

£450,000 donated to Brent culture by the Arts Council for the culture of B~ent, and all handed to a company with a B~ent address who have no connection with B~ent, and are actually funding a Korean pop culture. Mad you might say? Butt then this is B~ent. And of course, if you follow Wikipedia, the culture has strong links pedophilia and misogyny ! Unbelievable, if it wasn't that this is B~ent.

Anon 15:39 What absolute rubbish. Please do tell us how this event will generate anything for the local economy? You say Brent is an international Borough, how did you come up with such nonsense?

Magic Sound Ltd is a European Concert Promotor specialising in promoting Chinese and Korean pop stars, they have been around since 2010. The director is Chinese and listed at Companies House home address is Mill Hill which is in London Borough of Barnet. In the past they have used Wembley Arena and 02. Can't see how this will benefit the local economy apart from a few ££££s rental to the Council, for the park and licensing, for hte event along with alcohol, food stalls, HSE, First Aid, Security, Marshalls etc.
