Nine years of asking Brent Parks to leave 0.5 metres to grow wild around the bases of the 100 veteran trees in South Kilburn Public Open Space (rather than mow tractor bashing into them). Let it all grow (not the junior football pitch) and cut secondary park footpath walks using a garden type mower instead.....
Great to see here what is being done to boost Brent ecology at Fryent, hope it can influence other Brent London Plan Designated Open Spaces care and maintenance in 2023.
