Affinity Water have warned residents that they will be replacing the water mains along the A404 Watford Road between Northwick Park Roundabout and John Lyon Roundabout.
They say they have been in contact with the Highway Authority and local transport teams at London Borough of Harrow and London Borough of Brent to minimise the
impact of these works:
We’re doing this work to improve our infrastructure to help us continue supplying you and the local community with high-quality drinking water to you and your local community long into the future.
• Working dates: Tuesday 25th February 2025 – Tuesday 1st July 2025.
• Working hours: 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday & various timings on
weekends.
These works are part of a larger Scheme, which will be taking place in phases and are due to be completed by December 2025.
How will this affect you?
• Traffic management: There will be rolling multi-way traffic lights in place to manage the traffic flow to avoid any major disruptions in the area.

Why couldn't they have done these works when they were doing all the road alterations outside Northwick Park last year???
Is there is no joined up thinking anymore???
Yeap correct it's madness
Chaos utter chaos
In the space of 1 week, the HA9 area has completely lost water supply from 10:30pm, with supply not being restored until complaints made, back one time at 2:30 am! Not on at all!
Why you guys just can't wait until Roadblocks are finished because it's causing a mayhem. Around Brent area, you cannot get around any roads. Now you want to dig up Waterford road, don't make it even worse.
They have to do this or the new flats (for none Brent residents) won't have any water, but their sewage will no doubt enter the local watercourses when it rains (or not). This is the London Borough of B~ent so sod the current residents. Another observation is that we'll now have to have water meters, so we are having our water rationed now and our bills put up by several hundreds of pound. As a pensioner, my entire pension increase has just gone on power and water financial next year.
