Long read piece on the inspection notes on Michaela Community School,which I FOI’d following its recent report.

A blog on an article we cant read on a school that is widely successful for a deprived population, but not the same level of scrutiny for other schools failing young people.
The article is balanced and acknowledges the examination successes of the school but also notes a narrower curriculum than many other local schools offer. Such narrowness is often criticised by Ofsted but in this case not in the published Ofsted report. The issues are revealed in the Inspectors' notes. I published the tweet so that you can read the thread by the author as well as responses.
