What do you and your children think of the options for Roundwood Park children's play area? Have your say.

Brent Parks service are currently looking at a number of options to improve the playground within the park. Three companies have been approached to develop plans for what they would do with the space, all working to a similar budget.

Please take a look at the three options and let us know your preferred option and any comments you may have.

The deadline for comments is Sunday 12 December 2021.

You can express your preference and make a comment HERE

NONE, they all look cheap, tacky, horrible plastic colours and not very organic. In a few years it will look, tired, faded and sad.

Much prefer the Childrens play area in the LDO, which is made from Hard wood and steel, it is well used and there is little sign of any degradation after 10 + years.

No award winning design's here.
All look cheap and not very adventurous.
Scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Gloucester Gate Playground Regents Park opened in 2020 is well worth a look. A new model too as it is a playground managed by a charity.

Engage open and transparent (old school) with current playground users extensively and they will pretty much design what they want and need most themselves. Brent is a mass of put-down great local ideas for improving Brent.
