  1. Well done, Martin! This clearly shows how out of touch Brent Council are with the community.

  2. It appears that someone at Brent Council is a Wembley Matters reader, as they must have seen one of Martin's blogs giving details of local hustings in order to direct the enquirer to this site.

Congratulations to that person for their initiative and helpful approach, but a sad reflection on Brent Council when their staff cannot rely on its own Communications Team to keep them (and local residents) informed about what is going on in the borough.

I hope to attend the Sudbury Court Residents' Association hustings on Thursday evening. If any Brent North parliamentary candidates are reading this blog, here is advance notice of a question I would like to ask:
Would your party be willing to raise income tax as part of a package of measures to help reduce the deficit, and if not, why not?

    Philip Grant.

    1. lol, the Comms Team are too busy trying to make Butt look good.

  3. Dear All,
The hustings tonight for Brent North has been postponed possibly cancelled as Barry Gardiner has pulled out. Please can you let anyone know who was thinking of attending.
