Breeding at the top of Brent Council

The tangle of previous employment, business and personal relationships among the top management of Brent Council is rapidly becoming a talking point in the Civic Centre.

The case of Cara Davani, Head of Human Resources and Andy Potts, Principal Employment and Education Lawyer in the Legal and Procurement Department is particularly colourful.  Fiona Ledden heads up Legal and Procurement.

Cara Davani has recently announced that Andy Potts has become a partner in Kebulak her dog breeding business. LINK

Terrier World LINK congratulated the breeders by posting a picture of their twins who were born in June. (scxroll down)

The name of one of the twins is purely coincidental. (I hope)

As the link to the twins' name isn't working, can we have a competition to guess it, please?

Was there a restructure of the legal team in which Potts was promoted /upgraded?

Fab header, Martin! Bravo. Can't stop chuckling. Link to Terrier World's pic of twins doesn't open alas, so here's link to Terrier World's (appallingly dense) website in case anyone wants to search same

In gratitude for Wembley Matters' attempts to save her soul, Davani will surely want to dub her sprogs Martin or Martina and Francis or Frances.

Have tried but can't find pics of the twins in Moggies Mag.

In days gone by in the council, restructures went to two council committees for approval, the first being the service committee, e.g. housing, social services, etc, and the second was to Finance and General Purposes. This gave councillors, unions and the public two opportunities of commenting on /challenging proposed changes thus providing an in-built scrutiny function.

I am unclear about what happens nowadays, however I doubt that anyone would have been allowed the opportunity of questioning the shake-up of the legal department which would have been overseen by Davani and resulted in Potts' promotion.

More than likely he got promoted, have you seen the price of nappies and dog food?

Andrew Robert Potts was made a member of Kebaluk Show Dogs LLP (a limited liability partnership) alongside Cara Davani on 1 April 2013 (no joke!).
