Wembley Matters wishes you a successful New Year of struggle

Page views May 2007 to Jan 1st2014

I would like to thank all my readers for their support this year which has seen the Wembley Matters readership continue to grow.   In particular I am grateful to guest bloggers and those who have contributed information for my stories.

Later this month Wembley Matters should hit half a million 'all time' page views.

I wish everyone a successful New Year of struggle for environmental and social justice..

A Happy New Year to you, Martin, and to my fellow readers.
I would like to thank YOU for all of the time and effort which you put in to bring us the interesting and varied content. That makes "Wembley Matters" far more informative than any other local site I know (and certainly much better for real news than Brent Council's own website), and is probably why you get so many readers and people contributing their comments. Let's hope that the discussion your "blogs" generate will lead to real improvements in local democracy this year. Best wishes,
Philip Grant.

Me too, Martin. And a special thanks from me on behalf of all my fellow Anonymouses, forced to withhold our identities to avoid repercussions from those in various forms of authority over us. I still find it hard to believe that there's only one Martin, given the amount of ground (metaphorical and literal) covered by this blog over any given period. It sometimes seems more like a franchise operated by a collective. Maybe we should start pushing for recognition of Martin's services to local democracy in next year's honours list; simply to give him the opportunity to make a principled statement on why he is turning it down.
Happy new year!
