The funeral of our comrade and friend, Charlie Pottins will take place at 1pm on WEDNESDAY 21st OCTOBER, at Northwood Cemetery, Chestnut Avenue, Northwood, HA6 1DE.
Nearest tube: Northwood Hills (Metropolitan Line)
Buses: 282, H11
Immediately after the funeral we will hold an informal celebration of
Charlie's life, with refreshments, at a private room in a pub in the
area. Now that we have a time, date and location for the funeral, we are
researching this and will give information when this is a available.
We very much hope that many of Charlie's friends and comrades will be able to attend. Please pass this information on to anyone you think will want to be informed.

Why no Guardian 'Other Lives' obituary for Charlie Pottins? They often print them some time after the death if anyone can do it.
I went to school with Charlie (Salford Grammar School). We became good friends.
We got in touch occasionally just to reassure one another that real friendships real friendships really last. I will miss him.
